What time are Check In and Check Out?

Check-in hours are from 2pm to 10pm. Check-out on the last day of your reservation is by 10am.

Do I need to bring my own Bedding/Linens?

Great question!!! We will provide all the bedding you will need for your stay to be cozy. We have a strict no personal bedding allowed policy .

Are Towels Included?

No, towels cost $2.00 to rent for the entire duration of your stay.

Can I drop off my luggage prior to the 2pm check in time?

Luggage Storage is available for guests that have a confirmed reservation and plan on arrving before 10:30am. Call or email us PRIOR to 10:30am on day of arrival (1-867-456-2333). You will be provided with instructions on where to leave your gear.

What if I cannot arrive until after 10:00pm

Late check-ins can be accommodated if we are notified at least 24 hrs prior to arrival. Please contact us via email to arrange after hours instructions. DAY of ARRIVAL DELAYS: We understand that delays happened. In the event that you are delayed on day of arrival (Flight delays, car trouble etc) please noticy us via telephone (1-867-456-2333).

How do I make a Reservation?

For the best rates, book directly through our secure reservation system. Note that third-party booking sites charge an extra deposit fee - you'll save money by booking direct! Payment: if you are using a Debit Card or Cash please email or call us directly to complete your reservation.

I have a Vehicle, where can I park?

There is free on-street parking on Hoge Street and throughout our residential neighborhood -- no parking permits are required! Please be mindful of neighbours and drive ways.

What is your Cancellation Poilcy?

We do understand that plans can change but Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time. Please cancel through the same booking engine you used to make your reservation ( etc). If you booked directly through our website, send us a cancellation notice by email or call and we will send a confirmation. No shows and those that do not provide 48 hours notice will be charged 100% and the entire reservation cancelled.

Does the Hostel have a maximum length of stay?

As our primary purpose is a short-stay accommodation for international travelers/bakpakers we do have a 7-day stay limit per 30 days. Under certain circumstances, we can extend this length of stay. The purpose or reason for requesting an extension may include but not limited to:

  • Coming to Whitehorse for medical treatment
  • Coming for a conference that lasts longer than 7 days
  • Coming for a work related training
  • The volume of reservations and guests during the time of the extension- during busy season (April thru Dec) we are less likely to be able to offer extensions.
Please keep these guidelines in mind when contacting us regarding extending your stay beyond the 7-day limit.

Are you open 24hrs?

Awesome questions!!!! The Beez Kneez offers 21hrs of complete access. The Hostel, Cabins and Grounds are closed daily from 10:30am til 1:30pm. The 3 hr closure allows the team to clean, repair and prepare for the house for upcoming adventures.

Can Pets stay at the Beez Kneez?

This is a great question and one we are often asked!!! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests with Pets as the Beez Kneez is home to 2 furry residents-Lily and Oliver. The team at Beez Kneez is more than happy to provide a list of Pet Friendly accommodations for the surrounding area. We do ask that you do not leave pets unattended in vehicles on the streets surrounding the Hostel as the weather can be unpredictable. Temp and conditions can change with no warning causing your friend to become uncomfortable and our lovely neighbours to be concerned. What is inside the Cabins?

You will love the unique experience of sleeping in one of our beautiful cabins nestled in our colourful yard and gardens. Each cabin offers a cozy bed, heat, and electricty. Showers, washrooms and cooking facilities are located in the main building.

Group Policies

We love groups at the Bee Kneez!!! Please contact us by email or phone to make a booking for your group. It is much easier to complete your booking with one of our Beez to ensure your group needs are met.
